Some kitchens are begging for one big, beautiful moment. For this Frisco home, that moment is a full-height quartz slab backsplash in Serene Della Terra Quartz from Arizona Tile, replacing the old tile behind the range. Serene is a bright white quartz with soft gold veining outlined in gray, and running it all the way to the ceiling lets that marble-like movement flow uninterrupted across the whole wall.

This was a detail-heavy wall. The slab had to wrap neatly around two windows that flank the cooktop, and the vent hood came down before the quartz arrived so our team could set each piece cleanly. We carried the same slab into the two small niches on either side of the kitchen, so the whole space reads as one finished design. While we were there, we also installed a new countertop in the guest bath.
