We hung new 1/2-inch cement board for a solid, moisture-ready base, then set Flash Ivory tile across about 138 square feet with Mapei mastic. The crew wrapped the window opening and outside edges in 47 matching pencil trim pieces instead of metal edging, so every corner looks finished. Ivory Mapei Ultracolor Plus grout and color-matched caulk at the countertop keep the whole wall in one calm tone.
