Project Overview
A traditional carpeted second floor is getting a timeless hardwood upgrade in this Frisco home. The project replaces approximately 1,427 square feet of carpet and pad throughout the second floor, including the media room, with premium 3¼-inch Southern Hardwoods #1 Red Oak flooring.
After installation, the new hardwood will be professionally sanded and finished with a dust-controlled process, medium scrape texture, and two coats of oil-based polyurethane. New flooring transitions and carefully reset baseboards will complete the renovation, creating a cohesive second floor with the warmth and character only real hardwood can provide.
