This Oak Point home already had luxury vinyl plank, and the homeowners were ready for a fresh, lighter floor that would run from the front door all the way through the kitchen without a break. Our pick was a light oak LVP with natural-looking grain and soft color variation.
We installed Adleta Origins in Rio Grande across about 1,120 square feet: the entry, hallways, kitchen, breakfast area, pantry, hall closet and home office. The crew removed the old floating floor, leveled low spots with floor prep, and laid a 6-mil plastic underlayment before clicking the new planks together. The dishwasher stayed in place, and the refrigerator was moved out and reset once the planks were down.

A Light Floor That Ties the Whole House Together
Light oak LVP is a smart choice for busy households that love the look of a pale wood floor but want something that shrugs off spills and pet traffic. Running one color through the entry, halls and kitchen makes a home feel larger and more connected, and the fresh painted trim gives every room a finished look.
